Barcodes (Code39)

Aim

The task is to detect and recognize a single Code39 barcode.

Input

An image containing a Code39 barcode. The position of the barcode is variable.

Output

Detected barcode and decoded text.

Solution (FIS)

  1. In Workspace Explorer open workspace Examples and in Film strip window select Barcode_Code39 dataset. Drag the Image channel to the ACQUIRE section.
  2. Add the ReadSingleBarcode filter to detect and recognize a barcode.
  3. Set the inBarcodeParams.Format parameter to CODE39.
  4. Show the decoded text on a new preview window.
