Barcodes (Code128)

Aim

The task is to detect and recognize a single Code128 barcode.

Input

An image containing a Code128 barcode. The position of the barcode is variable.

Output

Detected barcode and decoded text.

Solution (FIS)

  1. In Workspace Explorer open workspace Examples and in Film strip window select Barcode_Code128 dataset. Drag the Image channel to the ACQUIRE section.
  2. Add the ReadSingleBarcode filter to detect and recognize a barcode.
  3. Set the inBarcodeParams.Format parameter to CODE128.
  4. Set the inDetectionParams.DetectionScanCount parameter to 10.
  5. Show the decoded text on a new preview window.
